Yet it may be proposed that the Word has qualities
which allow for the transformation of Reality.
The hypothesis is:
Through the act of writing,
fundamental changes in the quality of perception can be accomplished
with results both predictable and unpredictable,
intended and unintended.
This implies a shift in the emphasis of life away
from an object-subject event in material reality
to a purely abstract conceptual framework.
This also implies
substance in the use of words
and duration in the way of life.
The purpose, to me, is the accomplishment of common goals.
Together it can be accomplished. All is possible in agreement.Terms are vital, but not substantial.
Asked for and agreed upon, it shall be delivered.
At heart, every poet knows
the act of creation is the act of revolution --
the crucial reformation of the language
that effects the vital liberation of society.
